On top of the hill are the two housing units (also known as the dorms), each containing six cabins (#1-#6 in Unit One and #7-#12 in Unit Two.) Each of the cabins will house 10 guests in bunk beds and has its own bathroom facilities. A total of 120 guests can be housed here.
When being used for youth and children’s housing, it is highly recommended that two adults be housed in each cabin. But in addition to housing youth and children, the cabins are used by adults in family settings, by groups of women during the American Baptist Women’s Ministries Spiritual Growth Retreats each fall, by the men during the American Baptist Men’s Spring Retreat, and sometimes by the conferees attending the Golden’eers Conference held each spring and fall.
Both of the buildings feature spacious covered porches on the front and another on the back of the lower level. The porches, accessible from each end of the buildings, are ideal for small group gatherings, devotionals and prayer groups.
The lower level of the second building has three meetings rooms, which can be combined for one meeting room the entire length of the building. These rooms must be scheduled when booking accommodations and meeting space.
CHECK OUT TIME for all dorm rooms is 10:00 a.m. on the last day of your stay with us.
