The William G. Farmar Administration Building (also known as “The Barn”) is the last remaining building from the original Hyre Dairy Farm and has become an icon of Parchment Valley.
In the early development days, the former barn was converted to serve as the multipurpose building providing a kitchen (in one end of the ground floor), dining facilities (in the center of the structure), meeting space (the converted dining area between meals) and sleeping quarters (the former haylofts in each end of the structure).
Today, it houses the administrative offices of the conference center and serves as the Guest Services and Hospitality Center. It also includes the Carter Dining Room and food service area for our facility in addition to Meeting Rooms #1, #2, #3, and #4 (see floor plan).
